INSPIRE Helsinki 2019 – Sea of European spatial data

From 22 - 24 October 2019 the National Land Survey of Finland, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland and the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission are organising the event "INSPIRE Helsinki 2019" at the Epicenter venue in Helsinki.

Practical, future-oriented workshops, presentations and discussions as well as four data challenges under the motto " Sea of European spatial data" will be offered. The goal of the event is to have a look at how latest technologies and spatial data can improve both decision making and the daily life of everyone. With the aim to go beyond the current status quo and show what can be achieved with a European spatial data infrastructure in the future.

The four data challenges form a further block of topics. They are looking for innovative practical uses of spatial data in the domains of sea, weather and cities. The winning teams will be awarded and can win free admission to the INSPIRE Conference 2020.
