Quality assurance for spatial data and spatial data services
With the validation tool GDI-DE Testsuite the SDI Germany (GDI-DE) supports data providers in testing the quality of their spatial data sets and services.
With this central test platform the data providers validate the conformity of their spatial data sets and services with national and international standards or specifications of the European INSPIRE Directive.
Currently, GDI-DE offers tests for validation of metadata, catalogue/discovery services (CSW), mapping/view services (WMS), download services (WFS, Atom) and spatial data sets (GML). To validate the requirements of the INSPIRE Directive the tests of the INSPIRE Validator, among others, are re-used.
