Central search and use of spatial data and spatial data services
As a joint project of the federal and state governments, Geoportal.de opens up a view of the contents of the Spatial Data Infrastructure Germany (GDI-DE). As a central access point to spatial data and spatial data services of the GDI-DE, all georesources in Germany can be found here without any geographical or technical limitations.
The national Geoportal.de contributes to implementing the service-based architecture of the GDI-DE. In practice, this involves the three-step "publish - find - bind".
The Geoportal.de was newly developed at the beginning of 2020 and is continuously optimized.
